I bought a ukulele two weeks ago and I'm loving it! Also decided to give it a name and call it Lune.
I always wanted to learn how to play several instruments, but never a ukulele. Not that I didn't like it, just never crossed my mind to learn it.
Don't know what happen though because I just fell in love with it and I so wanted to buy one that I end up buying it.
I've been watching tutorials and learning to understand the basic things, but I'm having so much fun! It feels so good to even just a play a note or random little songs while I'm learning chords so I can't wait until I can fully play a song!
What about you? Do you play any instruments? Or ever wanted to?
Sometimes I wake up with an urge to listen to uplifting songs so I use this playlist.
To shake sadness, running, when I attempt to skate or even for when I'm just around doing something and want music on. It gets me moving and pumped up.
Although not all the songs are necessarily "happy", they still make me feel good. Some songs I really like because of they catchy rhythm and others because of the lyrics or both combined.
These songs give me energy and put me in such a good mood that I can't help making some (ridiculous) moves, singing out loud and pretty much jumping around when I hear them.

I have this playlist directly on my phone so that's how I listen to it, but please tell me if there's any platform/app you prefer for playlists. My SD card would appreciate it. Also, any other platform that I can use to share playlists instead of YouTube?
Did you discover any new artists or songs from this playlist?
Let me know some of you favourites songs to chill out too.
James Bay appeared on my youtube subscriptions feed last year with Forever because of BBC Radio 1 and got me like 'hum I don't know this guy so let's check him out', but I had no idea I was going to fell in love this much. I'm actually listening his songs right now! On repeat since I woke up!
I think If You Ever Want To Be In Love is my favourite song, somehow it puts me in a good mood and I can't help dancing a little bit and singing along. But I absolutely love Let It Go, Move Together, Stealing Cars, When We Were On Fire, Heavy Handed, Hold Back The River, Hear Your Heart and I guess all the others songs too.
I don't have much more to say about James Bay. I just love him, his long hair and his hat, his voice and his songs. I'm mean, he is pretty awesome!
Fingers crossed I'm seeing him and also Sam Smith live in July!!
Are you a James Bay fan? Let me know what you think about his songs
I came across his SoundCloud somehow last year and at first I was like 'Nah, I don't like this', but 1 or 2 months later I came across his songs again and fell in love - thanks to some of Ben's Visual Vibes.
I couldn't believe it was the same Sam Garrett from months ago, I mean how can my tastes change that quick? I have no idea, but now I'm like 'How could I not love his songs?'
I think Hope is my favourite, but I kind of feel bad saying that as I love all of them. Can they all be my favourites? Yeah, let's say 'yes'
His songs put me in a zen mode. I feel they are all about positive vibes, love, celebrating life, nature and yourself. Also, his voice is so relaxing to listen to.
Did you already know Sam's songs?
If not, go check them out on SoundCloud and let me know what you think
I'm sure you all already know Sam Smith but if you are like me, you didn't like him at first. Obviously not as a person, I just didn't like the first songs I've heard (and I still don't).
Sam got my attention and interest with Latch in acoustic and at first, I couldn't relate he was the same Sam that everyone was crazy about because of La La La with Naughty Boy and Latch with Disclosure. I thought he was some random guy doing covers on Youtube, yes everyone was already crazy about him and I was just starting to discover his songs.
This guy has an incredible voice that I'm super passionate about. I think his voice is so beautiful, emotive and relaxed at the same time. I love to hear his songs in acoustic and at concerts, some of them more than in studio versions. In the meantime, just through YouTube but seeing him live is definitely on my bucket list. What annoys me is that he has already been at a Festival not far from where I live but at the time I didn't know much about him.
Sam was the best surprise of 2014 and definitely my favourite artist of the year, even though I can't say I like all the songs I know.
I can't seriously pick a favourite song. I don't love all of them but I just can't choose a favourite between the ones I like so here's a playlist with all of them, excluding a lot of acoustics and live versions because otherwise this playlist would be 3 times bigger. I hope you enjoy them!
While writing this post I was listening to his songs and just found out some that I didn't know *happy me*
Do you like Sam Smith? What's your favourite song, if you can pick one?
Hey, how are you? I hope you are having a good day!!
So I wanted to launch a new category today, but I couldn't finish the first post (kind of a long one and I'm having difficulties to choose the right words and express myself properly so I don't want to publish it yet) but I also didn't want to not publish today as I normally do it every Mondays and Fridays or Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Also, the new category I was talking about is about food so let me know if you would like me to launch it or not. If you do, I will launch it next Wednesday because I already have another category to launch next Monday - about motivation and positive messages.
Enough of rambling and let's get to the actual purpose of this post.
I'm not a huge The Script songs fan, but I definitely love some of them and Superheroes is probably my favourite one.
I heard this song for the first time on the radio, but it was just a little bit and got me like, 'I need to find this song' and when I finally found it I couldn't stop listening to it. I love the message behind the lyrics and I feel they tell a story.
Do you like this song?
Let me know what you think about the food category. Do you want me to launch it or not?
And also let me know if you want a motivational and positive category on the blog.
The first time I heard this song, almost a year ago, I cried (not in a sad way) and to this day I can't sing along to the song without getting emotional so you can already imagine how much I love it. This song is really special to me and almost a year after still gives me chills every time I hear it so I guess there's not much more to say. I hope you like it
I prefer the lyric video but you can also watch the official music video on Youtube.
I fell in love with this song back in December 2013 and it's one of my all time favourite songs, especially the lyrics.
I think that anyone can relate to this song because it's like a wish and I guess we all wish to live and enjoy every moment, I mean I would be glad to say 'I swear I lived' or 'I did it all'. The official video came up this September and it's absolutely perfect, has such a strong message and story that made me a bit emotional.
Definitely my favourite OneRepublic song
An uplifting song. A song about life that encourages me to make the most of it
